I have done a few modifications, but this has by far been one the the best purchases I have made. There are many pros to the tacoma and not that many cons. In my opinion here are my cons.
    CONs:
    20-22 MPG AVG
-Making me wish I had a big gas tank for longer trips without stopping.
    Wishing it had front sensors
-The hood is very pronounced and hard to tell how far in front of you have left.

But other than that I have no reason to not love the Tacoma

how does it drive, whats the shifting like? What do you think the MPG's should be?

Would you buy a 4runner next time?

I Love the Tacoma, It drives so smooth and gear changes are pretty seamless. Its not really the MPG's I'm worried about. I just wish I could go a little farther on a tank. Mainly referring to the size of the tank.

Welcome and congrats on the new purchase and 4 month birthday.
We like hearing driver feedback too. We're looking into a new fuel tank soon, so thanks for reminding us - ha.
    What did you drive before?

I have always wanted a tacoma. I work for Porsche so my sports car craving is fixed on a daily basis. So what is the most reliable, fun, iconic, do anything vehicle that would hold its value through the years.... the only car that fits that description is the Toyota Tacoma.

Or a Jeep Wrangler. I actually have both. I have a 2002 TJ w/ 70k miles w/ clean title and condition. A 17-year-old vehicle and I could sell it in a heartbeat for 15k right now if I wanted.
