It won't be on the trail. We find a spot and pull off. Happy?

I dont think he meant beers. He said "cold ones" so I think he meant maybe grabbing some Nestle Drumstick ice cream. Or maybe some Spumoni.

Well I'm not gonna sit here and convince anyone to do anything but I think we are all adults and know our limits. Just thought I'd mention that there's a great spot to meet up and hang out before we hit the trail.. that's all

There's a little bit of everything as far as trails go, I've seen regular fire roads ( i believe its sheep truck trail ) and then there's some that are a little more challenging (where Lytle Creek Rd turns in to Baldy road) if you keep right its nothing but rocks, its like a ravine, or a wash filled with nothing but rocks, and boulders.

Let me know whats up, maybe I can get there early with an ice chest full of Ice cold "Yoo Hoo's" LoL

Drinks are settled. Now to pick the trail. If we take lytle creek road all the way until it ends and just start heading up, where does that go?

    I'm surprised at your attitude.

Fair enough. Again I was just surprised by the attitude. There are many off-road clubs out there and many of them have as their 1st rule:

I understand that there are no rules for an informal trail meet and each adult makes their own decisions. I just think that the collective judgment here in this thread borders on epic stupidity. You can bash me if you want to, but it really isn't necessary, I won't bother you all anymore in this thread.

I do hope you guys have a fun safe run.

I was being sarcastic. We talk like this because 90% of the people that meet up to do this stuff know eachother. We all know eachother. We have met in person. I have never met you. We are some of the safest offroaders out there. We all have $30k trucks and don't want to mess them up.

And do not call us stupid please. I would have taken you seriously. But can't now. I hope you do not come because me and Manny will most likely nudge your truck off the mountain. :p ooops

Like a good friend once said..."The internet is serious business."

We will probably only be out a couple hours. You can always turn around if need be. But we are still working on where exactly to go.

Hit up google maps. There's a bunch of little trails that merge and split off, most of the trails run into lone pine canyon road, but a few go up to the top.

Nice, where does that trail start? Lytle Creek road starts at the top of Sierra and eventually turns into 3NO6A which stops at Mt Harwood.

Edit: Disregard "where does it start", i found it. lol
On that note. The Ranger stations have awesome trail maps for sale, like $10, that show topo and all the fire roads.

I've taken it all the way to the top, it's not bad, ends up at monument peak. it's a decent trail, nothing technical though. winds it's way back into crestline.
