Curious as to where you ended up with your lift, did you change from just the 5100s?

Tacoma Locking Storage Doors - Thanks to @tacitos

As he stated in his OP, that you can find here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacitos-white-taco-supremo-build-dclbor-4x4.409534/, the goal was to secure the storage compartments at the back of the bed. I also purchased the items needed to waterproof and seal the storage compartments, but at this time I have not completed that step as I am still up in the air and possibly waiting for any other options that are out there.

Purchased the following items from my local Home Depot:
    • 3 Packages Mailbox Locks
    • 3/8x3/16" Rubber Foam
    • JB Weld
The locks fit perfectly into the existing patch holes, there is no need for drilling. I took the advice of the OP and didn't worry about reconfiguring the tumblers so that I could open all (3) locks with the same key. Therefore, I have three different keys. Not a big deal to me, but maybe others. I don't know. I do think you could do the same as the OP if you really wanted and then just get three of the same keys made. You'll have two keys in each pack so you'll only need to have one made up that matches. The reason you will need three keys is because, although it works, you cannot remove the key while in the open position. This is important for the larger compartment since you need to open both locks at the same time.

    IMG_0440.jpg

    IMG_0441.jpg

    Step 1:

First thing first, I made sure compartments were cleaned. Man were they gross. Then I removed both doors and the OEM Door Locks. Inserted the new Mailbox Locks.

    Step 2:

Applied JB Weld to the backside of the lock cylinder.

    IMG_0442.jpg

Waited 1 hour for the JB Weld to cure.

    Step 3:

Assemble the locking arms so the fit snug against the compartment latch slot. Each door latch area has a small tab that keeps the OEM latch from accidentally going to the open position, I used these tabs as a reference when securing the latches. In the OP you will notice that he bent his metal patches to fit snugly. I actually did not take that approach. Instead, on the smaller door, I just took a small sander and sanded a little of the edge on the back side of the compartment so that it fit nice and snug with out bending anything. I was lucky because I only had to do that to the small compartment. The bigger compartment fit right away.

    Step 4:

This is where you would apply the Rubber Foam but I skipped this step for now. However, this is what it would look like if you did complete this step from the OP pictures.

    IMG_0447.jpg

Like I stated above, I do have this Rubber Foam. I just wanted to hold off for now before I completed this step.

    Step 5:

    Installation

Overall, I am extremely happy with how they came out. This was another easy mod that doesn't cost a lot of money. I highly recommend. Thanks again @tacitos

There is. Look for a thread on brake controller. If I remember correctly, you'll need a different harness but the thread will confirm. I bought the 3017

I need to put one of these on my list. NOCO gb40 jump starter. You get that online? I'm assuming this would be great if you are out by yourself and need a jump for some reason.

Threw on my new Expedition One bumper the other day. Still need to bolt on the license plate and wash the truck. Overall I'm very pleased that I can now hit something tougher than a strong breeze and not wreck my front bumper.

    Never heard of a Gondual?
But a dual battery setup would be pretty cool.
