This took me 3 hrs to clean this morning. I can't believe how much mud was on, under, and in my truck. Good lord. Does anyone know how to get the baked on mud off your pipes?

hahaha that was a blast man. thanks for showing us that trail Jamie. it had a little bit of everything rock, mud, sand, but nothing super crazy, Matt and I never even had to use our lockers. my truck is still filthy and my girlfriend was disgusted when she saw my truck later that day. its gonna take forever for me to clean which im not looking forward to but it was totally worth it. thanks again, all you other guys missed out.

the puddles were off the side of the trail so you didn't have to do them if you didn't want too, it was fun to do but will be a pain in the a$$ to clean.

Yeah man. My pleasure. It has been a long time since I've done that trail all the way to the end. It was a great drive. PERFECT day too. That big frosty beer at Cold Springs hit the spot. My fiancee couldn't even get in my truck without getting dirty. Hilarious.

Nice pics Jamie, thanks again for the beer...that did hit the spot. IDK how your truck was sooooo freaking dirty at the end and mine and aarons weren't anywhere close to as dirty as yours, that was kinda funny.

Now we need to figure out when and where we going next: cuyama peak, hungry valley...

And next time more people need to show up and stop being sissies :D

yes to all. i would love to know of a good prerunning spot back in lockwood. never head of quatal canyon, just googled it and it looks fun. how doable would it be to hit up that and cuyama peak same day? should we make a camping trip out of it?

after this weekend i'm pretty open (i think, gotta check with the wife) so we need to plan some more trips and go.

We can make it an all day thing, or camping either way I'm down for both.

If you prefer we could do both in one day easily, Ideally it would probably be good to meet up maybe somewhere near Lockwood Valley Rd / hwy 33 and head east to Mill Potrero Hwy, and come down through Quatal Canyon to hwy 33 (you end up near Ventucopa) then we could head towards the Cuyama Peak trail.

theres even another OHV area on the way to the Cuyama Peak trail, its called Ballinger Canyon.

Ventura is where I have been looking at :D

If you know of any good neighborhoods or apartments that I could research on here lemme know. Im looking for a 1bdrm big enough for me and the gf. around $1000 would be cool. Can do a little more than that thought if we have to.

Once we're out there let the good times roll. Can't wait to experience Cali

ventura is pretty nice over all with the exception being the ventura avenue, which is where i live. it's kinda shitty and shady (somebody tried to break into my house one night while i was sleeping), but the rent it cheap :D. my wife and i live at the end of the ave where it gets nice again but i'd look else where if i were you. unfortunatly in ventura and most of CA, a 1 bdroom for $1000 is gonna be hard to come by, not impossible. it's just gonna take alot of work.

That would be mine and thanks man. I'm running 32x12.5 BFG all-terrains on Mickey Thompson Classics II and as Matt said I have 2.5 Camburg CO's. The tires fit great and only rubbed at full lock but i did the pinchweld mod and trimmed the front bumper valence slightly to fix that. If you got any more questions let me know.

thats not what you girl was saaayin....oh snap. j/k fool:eek:
