who is skating this year? I saw Duane Peters knock himself out there about ten years ago. Sergio Ventura usually slays it there.

Nah. No need to be jelly when I know I'm going to get exactly what I want. Not going to waste $1500+ on something I don't like just to have steel on there.

Damn that sucks. I hate doing the rear brakes too. Now you have to completely pull them apart to replace the seal. :annoyed:

Thats why you stop fast when the douche bag behind you is surfing his Facebook on the way home from work. Let them pay for a new bumper.

What do you guys think about Pelfreys aluminum skid? I know steel is the shit but I don't do rock bashing obviously but would like some better protection.

Danny, let me know if you need help? I have some experience myself with both the front and rear brakes.

Pretty much just about ALL of the tools that you will need. There might be a few missing in the picture, but that is just about it right there.

    IMG_20160507_095743.jpg

Whenever I do my brakes, I like to clean the "guide rails" and then lightly coat them with high temp grease to help prevent things like a "hung caliper" and such.
    IMG_20160507_123029.jpg

    IMG_20160507_122947.jpg

Where the brake shoes literally touch the "back-plate", I cleaned and put EZ-Break Anti-Seize at those points. I also cleaned and put anti-seize on the adjuster as well. Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you clean the hub-centric with a wire brush and put anti-seize as well so that it will make it a bit easier to pull the drum OFF, just like you see in the pic. You can put a little bit of anti-seize on the studs, but ONLY a VERY SMALL AMOUNT!!! Not even enough to cover a gnats a$$!!! Too much anti-seize on the studs and you WILL over-torque and SNAP the stud!!!

Finally, my supervisor (Lilly) making sure I do the job correctly!!!
    IMG_20160507_092245.jpg

Finally, make sure to bring Holy Water with you because there's gonna be aLOT of CUSSING when doing the rear brakes, LOL!!! That upper spring was a F'N NIGHTMARE!!!

I apologize for reposting this video/event, but I was just reminiscing about how much fun I had with this particular night run and group. I have to admit that it was ridiculously LONNNNNGER than it should have been!!! Maybe that's why nobody wanted to go with me on my solo night run a few days later??? LMAO!!! :D:p:laughing::laugh::rofl:

@MotoEd @SocalOC @Nicklovin and others, this was definitely a FUN night run!!! LOVED this group!!! Pretty HILARIOUS night it was!!! LMAO!!!

Ed and his F'N ROCK!!! LOL!!! Gonna miss wheeling with you man!!!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLUo6ZsGssw&t=10s

Me on a solo run to find Nick, Antonio, and Jay because Jay was the only one that had a Hi-Lift in the group and we somehow got separated? I was towards the back of the pack. I volunteered to go run after these guys by myself while Ed and the rest try to figure out a possible way to get Ed off of his rock? The look on Antonio's face was PRICELESS when I told him what had happened!!! That's why I asked if he had a pistol on him? :quickdraw: LMAO!!!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Yem29lOo7E&t=104s

Gotta put Nick's famous donut spins in as well!!! LMAO!!!

I hate f*ucking with drum brakes. One of the two main reason why I went 4Runner. I don't get why they still use them. It's not that they are difficult to work on but come on it's not the 1960's anymore.

Just saw a Tacoma almost completely demolish a taxi trying to turn left while they both were gunning it through the yellow light. That would have made for quite the exciting morning
