Ok...last cabin filter was $14. Same brand now $36 @ Advance Auto. Nucking futs....

BTW, marry a smoker, cabin filters stink.

Stock 17" FJ steelies are the best IMO. But good luck finding a set of 4 these days....especially with the metal OE center caps. They've just about gone the way of the Dodo bird

I got a set of used steelies for 80$. There were for a Nissan Pathfinder. I got them sandblasted and primed. Too cheap to paint then since they are the winter set and they will be ugly and rusty all their life lol they are heavier than stock alloy wheels too, if you mind weight. Since you are going full Alu you might want to consider it

    Indecision.....

I've been flip flopping on bumpers all weekend. Had my mind made up it was a CBI Moab 2.0. Then they couldn't tell me how long before shipping. Allpro gave me a date, 3 to 5 weeks. That'll work and I like their product. I'd spoken with Pelphrybilt. When I asked about bumper/skids/sliders, I was told 12 to 14 weeks. Can't wait that long.

So I see an add from Pelphrybilt. They have the bumper in stock. It's the sliders that are 3 months out. Pelphrybilt has an EXCELLENT price on their aluminum plate bumper. Gonna call 'em first thing in the morning and make sure it can ship soon. Their skids are less money too. I want skids and bumper from same vendor.

Sliders HAVE to be bolt on's....There's a reason why. Choices limited for quick turn around. Right now, having a locked in date for delivery is VERY critical. Gotta plan for vacation time to install this stuff. That requires weeks, maybe even months before request is accepted or denied.

So...Sliders from Allpro. Ship in a week. Bumper (maybe) from Pelphrybilt. Would LOVE some feedback from someone with their bumper (on fit/finish)

May go ahead and order rear aluminum bumper too while I'm at it.

One way or another....Bumpers will be bought and PAID FOR tomorrow before end of business hours. Once that's done, no more changes.

Winch is either local pick up (Warn) OR right up the road in Indy (Smittybilt). Will have that decision FINAL and winch in the truck on Friday. I favor the Warn....by a long shot. Much better reputation for reliability. But...Money is money.

Damn....Starting to drag this out like Nick when he buys shocks !

I had my spare on for a couple days while I got the other tire fixed. Was lazy and rain kept me from changing back faster.
I could see what you mean. I'm sure having 1.25" spacers kept from rubbing things.
Also much cheaper online too. So cheap on ebay, I'll change cabin/engine filter with oil changes.
@mwc273 has a Pelfreybilt front bumper.

I'm not dragging shocks out haha! I'm just being patiently impatient

I was in the parking lot @ Advance Auto....pulled old filter out....it looked like shit. I wasn't going to put it back in. Just bit the bullet and replaced it. I replace cabin filter about once a year. There's 6 to 8 oil changes in that time frame.

Hoping to get someone with a Pelphrybilt aluminum bumper to speak up. Got one via PM on Pelphrybilt forum.

Just found out Warn is starting to make plate bumpers again!

Whatever it is, they will all be paid for when everyone opens for business tomorrow. I've got GOOD prices, and FAST lead times....Just want to get this DONE. I was a couple days from ordering sliders almost 2 years ago when the doctor first said there was a "mass" on my kidney. Everything has been on hold since then. I just want to get caught up to where I SHOULD have been all this time. It's hard to get time back once it's gone. I know I'm driving a few people crazy, but this is important to me to get it done ASAP.

Just put in an offer on a used ARE topper. Wrong color but I can take care of that. Would probably want to upgrade rear leaf pack if I get it. Skipping Dakars. They seem to have a relatively short life. Would be doing AllPro Expo's.

@ work. Waiting on popo to finish sweep of building. Found a door open and evidence that someone was in one of the bar areas. I'm fine with sitting here in the truck, waiting for Barney Fife look-a-like to fingerprint all 54,000 square feet of the clubhouse. 67 degrees, light breeze, and no one else here. I'm down for a nap

Sudden burst of activity by popo. Several squad cars just rolled in. They found someone hiding in the building.

    Begin Cops theme music!

I read somewhere that is one of the most recognizable TV theme songs ever. (Mash theme was #1)
