    A lot has gotten better since season 1
    It depends on who directs each episode. Any series that goes multiple seasons will have different feels to it throughout the series because very rarely does the same person direct all the episodes. Usually the director of the 1st season takes a back seat as a producer or exec producer and lets other people put their spin on it for a while

    Read he might have wanted Ellaria and her other daughter as a prize for Cersei since they are the two responsible for Cersi's daughters death (poison kiss). Also the Greyjoy fleet is not too shabby of a prize.

    i'd assume they'd try to make it back across by land, but that's what Jaime/Cersei are wanting. smaller numbers and in the open. they played that one out well.

    Jamie said they would have to march back across Westeros since their fleet got destroyed :notsure:. They are probably assuming they will die in route, I'm sure most will but greyworm will make it back at least...

    Dany was annoying in that meeting with Jon. She redeemed herself a bit at the end when they talked again but she sounded like a whiney entitled child when all she kept saying was "I'm the rightful queen on the iron throne". How many times does Jon have to say who cares before she gets it?

    Great episode, and the first 15 mins with Jon and Daeny were so good! I am glad he didn't break so easily. At least Jon got his dragon glass, so that trip wasn't entirely a waste of time. Now that all of Daeny's armies and navy are broken, she will need strong allies again. This could be a tipping point in accepting Jon and becoming a true ally. Also, Jorah is healed thanks to Samwell, so just about all close parties between the two camps are making friends. It's their destiny it appears. And since Jorah is also a Northman, he may be the last voice she needs to truly believe Jon and tie their fates together.

    Euron is just great to have in King's Landing. I love that he lives up to his pirate-type nature and doesn't change personalities just because he is around the uppity lords in the capital. Cersei has herself a very formidable navy now and it also looks like the move of taking Highgarden and all it's gold will do her well with the Iron Bank. With all her recent winning, she is bound to come up with a loss soon.

    Bran back in Winterfell! Although his reunion was touching, to prove his power as the 3 eye raven, he brought up some terrible memories for Sansa. I mean, he could have just touched the Weirwood tree and showed her, but he had to go there. :boink:Geez bro, be a bit more sensitive to your sister's nightmare of a wedding night!

    Could be Jorah now though. He knows Sam and Jon served under his father at the Wall, and probably believes what Sam told him about what happened there and beyond the Wall. Either way, it looks like they're setting up to ally themselves to me. I also wouldn't rule out some type of political marriage between Jon and Daeny, although they are aunt and nephew... but nobody living outside of Bran knows that.

    The exchange between Euron and Jamie talking about Cersei and how she likes it and the finger in the butt had me rolling, " Not now, we'll talk later". I really like his character, he's a lot like Negan in that he's a baddy but still enjoyable.

    I too was expecting him to behead her out of rage but he didn't.

    Melisandre telling Varys of her heading to Volantis but will return because she, like Varys, has to die in Westeros was a great scene. I wonder where Sandor will end up, where the visions from last week will take him.

    So much to play out still I almost wish I hadn't started the season so I could binge watch when it's complete.
