I'm probably a year out from getting a front bumper, so I reserve the right to change my mind 12 times between now and then.

@boogie3478 I watched the video..... replied to one guys comment... I think a lot of the guys arent thumbs downing the rack other than a couple.... most people didnt like the teaser factor I guess...

I liked it.... liked the music choice... haha :notsure:

I saw this one... I love the look of the low profile bumpers.. I was all about that bumper, until SOS came out w/ their lo pro... I think it looks a little better IMO.

which, IMO, is the entire point of putting an aftermarket bumper on.... better approach angle, ability to hold a winch, and provide protection against brush, trees, and animals

Not bad, I like that one too, who knows, I may change my mind. Between those two it seems it really depends on how light my wallet it is at the time.

Looks like everyone had a pretty productive weekend.

I picked up the set of 4 used ST Maxx's and did some exploring around Pennsylvania.

@Lots2Learn58 I'm ready for one of your 255's whenever they come off the truck.

Thinking about doing a road force balance on these when I get them mounted. Any opinions or local suggestions for a shop that can balance a big set of tires?

BRO! Its also partly why I did that little cosmetic upgrade to the beast tundra shifter knob. Just make me feel like royalty with how big that SOB is!

lol love it or hate it, they are still watching it. so at the end.... you still win. haha

also, verbally my tires are sold for this evening... making a $50 profit (not bad for sitting in my garage for 2 weeks) and going to order something different...

    looking at :

    Mastercraft Courser MXT,
    Cooper Discoverer STT Pro,
    Firestone Destination MT,
    Kbro2s,
    ST Maxx?

    thoughts???anything else???

I hear the ST Maxxs are quiet on the road. I run 285 Kbro2s and I think they are pretty quiet though. It would be worth getting in someone's ride who has some ST Maxx's and see how they fair up IMO.

I have just heard that ST Maxx's are a little soft and wear quickly... can anyone confirm or deny?

I have heard similar but I don't know what range ply combinations they offer for them. I have the "E" rating Bros which Im sure are rougher than C rating tires, but they are a little more bomb proof on trail and have a longer life expectancy from what I have read.

I'll have some ST Maxx's mounted in the next week or two. Can't speak to their longevity obviously but I'm anxious to see how the road manners are. You are welcome to give it a go when they're mounted.
