Oh, C'MON! Post those pics! I'm going car ("truck") camping (Shenandoah) in the end of August (first time with the TACO) and I'll post those!

LOL, the Subee had 235,000 miles on it when I "retired" it with the 2017 TACO Off Road. "Car camping."IMG_2605.jpg

Thanks! Nope... just like to take pictures.

Thanks man! I recommend camping in the desert, especially during a new moon. However, apparently it gets windy there sometimes... that may put a damper on things. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Near Idyllwild, Ca- 1st time out with the Gen 3. It did really well pulling up the grades and handling this trailer!

Really looking to move my career out West for a change of scenery. Sounds like Bend is saturated, what would you say the up-and-coming area is in Oregon right now?

depends on what type of scenery/atmosphere you're looking for.
There is the usual highly Saturday and dense Portland, or plenty of nearby mountains and their residences, to the desert-like environments of the central state.

IMG_1376.jpg "Roughing it" on the ground in the Sequioa NP this weekend. Damn black bears sniffing around kept us awake both nights, but amazing to get out of the city.

@Cuffs, what do those blue spray paint marks on the dead trees mean? If they have an orange band attached to them also, are they critical? Thanks :)

come out, take some time, drive around and check it out for yourself. Yes. Bend has grown, but everyone has their own version of saturation. Given your avatar, somewhere in the Corvallis area may be suitable as well. Housing is relatively affordable compared to Portland, Bend and Hood River. You can ride:

    Alsea Falls
    https://www.mtbproject.com/photo/70...f-bike-optimized-features-for-maximizing-play

    Black Rock
    https://anotherheader.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/dsc_4269-edit.jpg

And for a more natural single track feel, Oakridge.
    https://cdn-files.apstatic.com/mtb/5801608_medium_1405954180.jpg

I get down to each of those places a few times a year, but my "go-to" is Post Canyon in Hood River.

We took the trailer up to Hawley Lake last week. About 4 hours away and 60 degrees cooler than Phoenix!

Exactly. Hazard trees. If inside a NP,, usually theres a priority that goes with the color (each varies by park) Trees in parks cannot be cut down by just anyone, has to be done by Park Service.
