How was it, planning to head up there in a couple weeks. Did you just head down to the beach, and back up the same way?

It wasn't bad at all. There were Honda accords that made it down to the camp sites by the beach no problem lol. We camped down by the beach at usal friday night. Then saturday we headed up the trail to the north to check out sinkyone ranger station before pushing to another camp at Wailaki for Saturday night.

The actual camp sites in the trees were pretty packed. That's why we went out by the beach. There was a good amount of people out there but they all kept a pretty decent distance from other groups

do you guys think it's bad that my pump is at a slight angle? i think i remember reading that they are supposed to be level...can't imagine why though. it took a handful of tries to get the stupid thing high enough to get out of the way of the winch clutch. it's still too close for my liking but i got the winch in there.

Old topic. Seems a year or so ago I inquired about a way to lock my tailgate. Is Pop and Lock still the only way to do that, and does anyone know the current version of said P & L if I decide to go that route. Will do the hose clamp mod for anti-theft, but need a simple way to keep out losers from getting into the bed. The cap window locks, so looking to do the same for tailgate. However low security it may be.

    ...too much shit to list.
Sounds like a good excuse to get a high clearance bumper with a swingout that has a lockable latch.
