Exactly! The sky (or personal creativity) is the limit with these racks. And you can't beat them for the price.

Lol that rack w/all the hardware weighs like 45 lbs and will easily support a RTT with 3 large people with stuff mounted to the sides.

Anybody know of any rear shocks other than Fox that are aluminum bodies?

I'm starting to shop around and being aluminum is one of my big wants. Living on the coast and frequenting the beach, I would like to minimize and corrosion.

OME and 5100s are more of price range, but I don't mind spending a bit more for a quality product. The only negative thing I've heard about FOX is they are stiff.

You could also use some Fluid Film or other type of protectant spray.

Looks like the Bilsteins are a "corrosion resistant zinc finish."

The only way to assure your plug will not be ripped off is to put it here.

True, but sand and salt get in everywhere. I'd like to not worry if possible.

They were my original choice but they are Zinc Coated steel and not aluminum.

A good pressure washer will help alot. I always give my undercarriage a good cleaning (of my truck you pervs).

Oh I already spend hours detailing my truck as is. I've been tempted to invest in some Grime Reaper and Bare Bones from chemical guys to keep the undercarriage clean. Was just hoping to go with aluminum since I need to replace the shocks anyways. I'm still rocking stock shocks after adding my 3piece AAL.

Completed my morimoto projector mod last week. Turned out pretty gnarly! Was even able to modify my kensun bulbs to work with the morimotos. I was not aware you had yo use their bulbs until I already got the kick. Figured I'd trim the kensun bulb and it worked! Anyone looking to tackle this I highly recommend making sure you let your JB weld set that holds the morimoto adapter and nut in place on the reflector bowl. Mine was not fully set and when I installed the bulb it twisted slightly and has a small angle to it. Nothing major but something I notice that bugs me. Also I used depo headlights that were blacked out and proceeded to black out the reflector bowl and the shrouds for the projector. As time goes on I will be removing all chrome from my truck (with the exception of the front turn signal and side markers) so I figured I'd start with the headlights. If anyone has questions or small tricks or tips while performing this feel free to reach out. With stripping off the chrome and painting the components this took me 8 hours total (chrome stripping and painting added up to about 3.5 hours). Also I did use the rubber gasket that goes between the projector and the reflector bowl and I noticed that the projector picks up a good but of vibrations so you see it in the light. Not sure if I didn't tighten the nut enough ( got them as hand tight as possible then put some JB weld to lock in place). Then one more thing is after baking them back together I have a slight film on the inside of the lenses. This may have come from the freshly applied paint on the reflector bowls and shrouds but I did tape off the headlights like others have suggested. It's not horrible but again it's something I notice. If I ever find a reason to crack the headlights open again I'll definitely be addressing the slight film and the left projector having a small angle.
