Thanks you Sir, those Red Bull's definitely did it. The wife was the MVP, she went along with everything and is already talking about next year.

Rod, you've got a natural ability for this type of terrain! I'm very impressed. I'm really glad you guys made it home safe and had such an awesome time. It was an honor to meet you and wheel with you.

Jonathan, any chance I could get a full res copy of this? It's an awesome shot! (Sidenote: I forgot my DSLR at home for this event. I was so mad at myself that I didn't bring it.). You really did a great job wheeling, man. I know you damaged your steps, but even for the Overlander - sliders are a must. You just never know what you'll run into and it's always better, IMO, to be slightly overequipped for the job; sliders would be that functional 'step' for people who aren't giants like me, and the added piece of mind on the trail. Seriously though, you really did great and the next time you go out, you'll be a LOT more confident in your abilities - I promise. I was in exactly the same position as you this time last year, so trust me when I say that you'll be a really capable wheeler before you know it.

Tom, great meeting you man! Make sure you convince your copilot (forgot his name) to lift that Highlander and put it on some mud tires! That'd make an epic build thread! Haha. Anytime you might be headed back to Rausch or AOAA, let me know! I'll definitely wheel with you anytime.

By the time I woke up Sunday everyone was either headed home or out in the trails. Bummed I didn't get to say goodbye to anyone but thank you all for the good times both on an off the trails.

Tim, I'll get you a full-size image tonight. I LOVE photography, but with that, I struggle between doing the outdoor stuff, and capturing it with the DSLR at the same time. It was at that part of our trail that I had the chance to step out and capture the moment.

PS. Thank you for spotting me! You're guidance helped me and I could see that you were really looking at all angles of my vehicle to help me with the best line. I'd wheel with you again any day (after some armor of course).

Great meeting you as well Tim! Haha. Copilot's name was Ladi and wouldn't be surprised if he did that - he had such a good time. Yeah, I have used up my two free passes a year from the wifey to go to Rausch (unlike others here whose wives go with them, my wife sees my truck, scratches her head and says "whatever") so once I earn another weekend pass away, I will definitely pm you!

When pitched next to a circus tent full of drunken DB's in a violent rainstorm, always wear ear plugs.

I'm glad I did... slept like a baby during all the shenanigans

    Lookie here @mach1man001 @loosnut @NwiTACO @jrzyshore

Same hard Brake-line. Same corner of the truck.

Not making my own brake-line from scratch tho. Too much work. LOL.

Ordered it from Toyota Dealership. Eight bucks.

Didn't have enough room. @stairgod 's 3 ring circus big top tent took up all the space.
