The 95 pack with the aal is essentially the 96 pack. Adding the aal just makes it the heavy duty pack.

Sorry - probably not. I'm a bit of a self-admitted hoarder and may stick it back in for extended camping trips or if I know I'll have a lot of weight on a regular basis down the road.

Sounds like a good idea to hang on to it. I planned to do the same but since the HD packs are back ordered I may go with the LD and add the leaf later

The D29XL is for the older version CS047R Dakar leaf packs. The EL46XL is for the current 095R and 096R leaf packs. If you add the 46XL it to the 095R pack it converts that pack directly into the 096R pack (with the exception that is currently does not come with the anti-squeak pads but will in the future in talking with ARB). By adding in the add-a-leaf if will increase the spring rate by around 15%. Now the lift height also changes but of coarse that can vary based on the weight that you have added.

Placed an order earlier for the full OME kit with them:)

I also added the AAL and hope to make it work without the pads. If they become available in the future I would definitely like to get some

Correct the new part numbers are for the new leafs. We do try to send out our u-bolts but sometimes we revert back to the OME ubolts depending on stock status at the time of order.

    Hi Marie (and everyone else),

I have a new-to-me stock 2015 DCSB TRD Pro Taco. While the truck is pretty much perfectly level as it is with the factory lift in the front... as soon as I add weight in the bed I have a negative rake... the dreaded squat.

My goal is to raise the rear about 1"-1.5" when under zero load. This gives me a positive rake for daily driving when there's nothing in the truck (85% of the time)... and a leveled neutral rake when I have my gear loaded up (maybe ~400lbs. max)

All of the research I've done and advice I've read (I've read so many threads on TW by now that my head hurts) has brought me to the following plan:

"Go with the Dakar spring set with the 3rd leaf AND overload leaf removed. This will raise the rear 1" over the front on a TRD Pro suspension. Ride stiffness is about the same as stock."

But that was BEFORE I saw this thread talking about the new Dakar leaf sets EL095R and EL096R that were just released to market. At this point, I'm going to assume that the above advice of removing the 3rd leaf and the overload leaf for a 1" lift was for the older CS047R leaf set.

Marie, or anyone - based on how I use my truck, I should probably go with the light duty EL095R's, correct? And how do I configure them (which leaves do I remove, if any) in order to net a 1-1.5" lift in the rear when under zero load (with the rest of the suspension being a stock TRD Pro suspension)?

    Thanks guys!

You are correct, the part stating "Dakar spring set with the 3rd leaf.....removed" is a little bit, for lack of a term, outdated. With the previous Dakar pack you could remove the 3rd leaf in order to reduce the spring rate by 15% and the overall lift height by 15mm. Now you can do that as well providing you have the heavy duty (EL096R) which would then convert it directly into a light duty leaf pack. The light duty leaf pack essentially already has the 3rd leaf removed. You could still remove the long overload if you wanted to. That would reduce the lift height by around 1/2." I personally haven't heard of anyone doing this with the new leafs though.

    FYI: PM sent :)
