it is not 1.02. Some additional things will be modified in 1.02 because of the cause of this stutter. (1.01 is NOT a band-aid, it is a fix).

I'd rather not post publicly about what causes it.

I simply dont want to cause any concern. I dont want to be on Toyotas radar, nor have people going to a dealership saying they read I said xx or yy about toyotas 'locked' code. If there is an 'issue' in the 'stock' calibration, I expect that a calibration update will be out soon.

the update one user got is not anything new.

So I take it we should "read between the lines" or quotes in this case?

I have stock tune and get the stutter when staying at a constant rpm below 1500rpm I've read many things but the one that sticks in my mind is that the ecu is trying to decide between Atkinson cycle or not....could be a simple tsb the dealer could fix in the future...just throwing a possibly out there. I'm no computer or engine expert.

I know for me in the stock configuration in Denver @5280 my A/F ratio and fuel trims look pretty spot on.

I don't know how it will act with your exhaust but it will really wake it up. I complained about the stutter alot. Maybe that's why it was sent. Looks like you are getting it. Let me know how it goes with the exhaust because I want to get it when the funds allow.

Oh I complained, just not here.

Ok 1.01B loaded. Stutter is gone and power looks to be back to where it was with the tune without the pipe. Just 15 minute drive in D with and without ECT. Backfiring is gone when lifting at hi RMP. Looks like maybe some shift points changed a little. Need more time on it and see if learning changes anything. Do notice it seems over sensitive in ECT at the 0-5% gas pedal input, almost seems like it skips a portion of that range.

Yes, when the pipe was added the truck would backfire out the exhaust when you let off the gas above about 3.5K.

It did sound just like a sports car when you would lift.

To me the 1.01B is nothing like the original. But mine was stuttering from the first drive. 1.01b really woke up my truck. I did get a CEL light today P101 but a hose clamp came loose off my intake while I was towing about 5k up a big hill in 3rd gear for about 3 minutes.

Well it's good the stutter is gone. I thought at first it was only the MT trucks. Then then people started posting that the autos were acting up too.

A to B. A had some improvements over stock and felt good except for the stutter but 1.01B made it a different truck. Stock my truck felt bogged down. When I threw the 285's on with the stock tune it would barely get out of its own way. My truck feels better, smoother and more powerful now then it did with the factory tires and factory tune.
