Bike ride as in motorcycle or regular bike?

You and me both. When it rains it pours though you know.

Got the wiring all done and completed for the ARB compressor and rear locker today. Finally, I'm at least 2wd. Still feel neutered but its progress.

I ran the ARB harness around the back of the motor and along the factory wiring but the supplied harness was too short. I extended the wires to the power and ground points. After my initial measurements, I had to fix a bad connection and it was too short to reach the positive battery terminal. I improvised and ran into the factory fuse box. I actually prefer this as you cannot even tell the wire is ran.

I found a clean ground on the drivers fender that is already used by the factory as opposed to the battery terminal. Ran the control wire for the solenoid and the compressor ground to that point.

    Wires routed along the firewall.

After a good amount of reading, I realized that trying to make the ARB switch run to the dimmer circuit wasn't worth the time. Finding the dimmer circuit wire was proving to be more difficult that expected so I skipped that step and found two wires that would provide me the power for the switches. One wire (lime green) provided power when the ignition was turned on. The second wire (dark green) provided power when the headlights were turned on for switch illumination.

I spliced into the wires as opposed to using a wire tap or other method. Soldiered them together and wrapped up in tape.

Thanks man. It's coming along. Still have LOTS of prep work to do before San G though.

    Interesting and useful information

Been reading @jberry813 build thread. (More like boarder line clusterfuck) highly advise people to read through it. I started on page one weeks ago and still have 985 messages to read but it's entertainment all the way through.

Oh that'll be a good project. I actually need to start the same thing. Need to do it soon so I can give @eccracer104 his dremel back.

Have you built your fuse block up yet?

@erice we really need to do that fuse block day we were talking about. That's at least 3 of us who would participate.

You must be a glutton for pain. My build would need to be upgraded to be a clusterfuck.

I've been trying to find a way to dump the ARB locker switch and use the factory RR Diff Lock switch from a TRD off-road instead and tie it in so the dash light for the locker comes on too (and connect to dimmer circuit). I didn't quite make it there yet but I found the wire to illuminate the locker dash light. All tacos have it. Where I'm stuck is the pin out of the factory locker switch and wasn't able to find a diagram for that yet.
