did you get the bolt at the front? the hole you use had a plastic filler in it on mine.

And for what its worth to OP, I was a little concerned after the bolts that they sit right on the brake lines so I just got some fuel line, cut it in 4 inch pieces and down the centre so I could wrap the lines with it. Just so no dissimilar metal touching.

Ours require making sure that nothing is contacting the mounting hardware on the inside or outside of the frame. We've seen some that didn't need bent, massaged or twerked out of the way while others requires a little tweek to get everything to clear. It's always best to make sure everything is clear from obstructions when installing aftermarket parts and accessories. We try to be as forward thinking as possible with our instructions as I'm sure other vendors do as well. But there are always chances that something changed or the vehicle was built a little bit out of spec that day or dealer added on stuff.

I didn't have to bend a brake line for the RCI s. I put some fuel hose over the bolt to prevent any chafing.

Cut off a few threads of that bolt and put it back in @OdiN1701! Thanks for noticing that, wasn't even paying attention to it, it didn't hurt the brake line at all since it doesn't move.

OP, enjoy your truck! If you like tinkering, then this rig will be a blast as you add mods and learn these little lessons. Keep asking your questions, you will get good direction here.

Sweet, that looks better! Just one of those things that's probably fine, but would bug me and is an easy fix.

They'll supply it with five grade 5 7/16th bolts.
But there's only four places you can get them, as well they come with cheap crappy fender washers. Not trying to knock them as I like my RCIs but the hardware it comes with is complete garbage. They say it's strong enough and it may be.

But anyways since I couldn't get all five I figured I'd upgrade. bought some grade 8 1/2" bolts and got some square washers from work and used those instead.

Square washers are a lot stronger and distribute the load better, and 1/2" grade 8 has a 21 000lbs tensile strength and 17 000lbs shear strength.
Much stronger than the grade 5 hardware they offer.

I've now lifted off them with a hi lift with the four bolts in it and have seen no movement at all.

I just turned mine around and had the bolt head be under the brake lines as well as wrapped the brake lines with fuel line hose where they touched. Not sure if it matters if they're dissimilar metals that would cause oxidization but oh well added saftety
