New England B.S. Thread

When I finally went back to the dentist after 10 years of not going, they had to do a normal cleaning in 2 separate visits. My gums had gotten too inflamed and bleeding a ton that they were only able to do about 1/2 of a typical cleaning. Then the next visit they finished the cleaning, filled 6 cavities, and fitted me for my permanent crown from the root canal. That was a shitty visit that convinced me to start going every 6 month again, haha.

 

If there is one thing I can say I hate, is that, the dentist. I know "hate" gets thrown around a lot, but I truly hate going.

The thought of someone picking at my teeth with sharp objects, while you sit there awkwardly, just doesn't appeal to me.

But, still have to go/do it... I dread every visit.

 

I hope I'm not that bad! It's probably been 7-8 years for me. I don't think bleeding would be a problem. I brush twice a day and floss almost every day. Every other at the worst. The tooth that's a problem is a wisdom tooth, so I suspect he'll pull it rather than spend any time on it.

I'm worried about the ones that feel like they have cracks. I can't see them to see what they look like and they've been like that for 5+ years and never hurt, but I worry he'll say it's decay or something.

 

Yeah the bleeding was caused mainly from my lack of flossing during those years. I would only do it once a month or so. Should be fine on that front if you floss regularly.

 

In CT? They are serious about the handsfree thing here in NH. You probably can do 30 over the limit through Manchester but god forbid you are on the phone!

I gotta stop buying Can Am products!

 

They knocked the ticket down from $150 to $30.

Now I'm at my father in law's house cleaning his fish pond since he's still in Portugal.

I got pulled over in NH before talking on a walkie... The statie didn't believe me until finally my buddy radioed back at me on the walkie asking if I was alright.

 

Good morning everyone. Happy Tuesday.

Rough night. Youngest woke up at 11:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep, so I finally gave up at 12:30 and told the wife to go get her from her crib, put her in our bed to see if she would fall back asleep (since she kept calling for mommy), and I slept on the cough.

Then, at 5, the oldest woke up calling for me. Went to lay down with him, hoping he'd fall right back asleep like he usually does. I get up at 5:30 everyday. Nope, he didn't fall asleep. Had to tell the wife to go lay down with him so I could take a shower. Meanwhile, the youngest woke up a bit and was crying, in our bed.

Hopefully they all fall back asleep... it's all quiet, for now.

 

Oh boy, Best of luck making it through the day.
