so we close in exactly 14 days!!!

I need to confirm the list again....

The deal is $100 in cash per guy + lunch... and I need 4 dudes... who is all down to help get my stuff moved to the new house on Saturday August 19th?

I think @FlyFishVA had volunteered... who else? I need a positive commitment since this is a hard and fast moving date

    any additional takers?

    that'd be awesome man!

we will easily be able to knock it out in one trip and it shouldnt take all day or anything....

the plan would be to meet at my house first thing on Sat morning in Ashburn, I'll back the Uhaul up in the driveway, we'll load everything up (if there is any excess we can load up some boxes in my Tacoma)

then drive to the house in WV (about 40-45 min away from the house in Ashburn) and just put the right box in the right room....

    no unpacking or anything.

so hopefully it takes no more than a few hours.

Tacoma caravan I would assume.. that way you guys can leave straight from there instead of driving 40-45 min back to my Ashburn house to pick up your trucks....

also, the more trucks we take out to the new WV house, the more likely we get everything in 1 trip.

I'm getting a HUGE uHaul.... I just want to be safe and make sure we get everything in 1 trip

I think only a Tacoma takeover will do. Lets storm it!

we will have plenty of room there to park... we have a 30-40 yard driveway and 3/4ths of an acre.... and it's in a cul-d-sac as well....

    why not :D

I always enjoy moving with groups of friends. We just descend on the community on a sleepy saturday morning with like 15 cars/trucks and a U-haul and knock that shit out. Make a big scene.

I'd like to help but I'm still a little ripe from knee surgery, on top of some looming OT at work.

If the work schedule doesn't interfere I could indeed. And I'd probably be ok with the knee honestly. But I can't be counted on so don't put me down as anything more than tentative.

As long as you can provide additional neighborly harassment, I say roll man.
