I agree, alot of the theads on this site end up getting way WAY off topic. it's kinda fun watching them evolve, and usually pretty entertaining :)

No there's no way that would work, you can't get drunk or get a lady in the mood with a bucket of cold water. you need lots of beer for that :)

I finally got some pictures of my truck. I still wanna know if a black bull bar would look okay. I don't really like chrome. What about some black rims?

A black bull bar on a speedway blue truck would be the only way to go IMHO. In fact I held the black Westin bar up against my truck at the local truck center and it looked good with the exception of that chrome skid plate that comes on the bars even if the bar is black (go figure). The skid plate can be removed, but then you have 2 visible mounting tabs that would need to get cut off to maintain a nice clean look. I am still up in the air about that part of it, but that's just me, but to answer your question, a black bar will look great on your truck. As for black rims... I am kind of partial to factory rims, allways have been, so I have no opinion there.

Nice looking truck by the way. :)

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
agreed...black bull guard...especially since you have the painted grille to match the body. i'd then tape off the guard and paint the inside skid plate back to match. its what i plan on doing unless i get a full brush....havent decided yet. i am also planning pn powdercoating my rims black. keep the stock size so no tpms issues and still get a different looking wheel. if u wanna see what it would look like, check out proteinbar84's photoshopped/wannabe real pic and that'll give u a picture.

Wow, we are meant for each other, i also hate chrome. I'm bout to trade the chrome trim around my grill with a guy at work for his black trim. I want to remove all of the factory chrome. BTW, black is definately the way to go with the blue truck, and black or powdercoated wheels look great on the speedway blue. still waiting to share that case of beer with you....
