It took a bit of finesse. Did you try just pushing the switch down to verify it was wired and working correctly?

Answering several questions at one time.
My K&N is the 63 series. Bought at autoanything for $200 after discount. Does improve acceleration. More improved with added catback exhaust.
My switch for the @mattgecko hood lights works fine. I was simply trying to do a quick install so not using hood to trip switch. I just mounted so can switch on when needed. No need to use lights in daylight.
Regarding scarred up arm. The bruised thigh bone is what really hurts. Arm looks worse than it feels. More superficial.
@rrentrop decals install easily if follow instructions. Note different instructions for each type of decal.
And finally yes. There was no surgery. It has been huge since birth.

 

Yeah, it seemed touchy.. I would push it and it would work fine, and then it would be down and just randomly kick back on. No worries though, standard switch works for me

Random question... I just got a black license plate but it has a white border that can be covered with a license plate frame. However, the front bumper license plate holder has slits at the bottom to hold your plate in and doesn't really work well with a frame. Is there some sort of 'sleeve' I can put around it just to cover the white border?

 

I was looking into getting the Sumosprings for my stock 2016 TRD Sport. Would these help at all with sag when I tow my boat?

 

I just got my black grill in the mail! I'm trying to unsnapp the silver one off. I'm just using a flat head screw driver in the middle and unsnapping the tabs. What about the harder to reach tabs on the side? Any better way to do it?

Yes, they will help with rear end sag when towing.

 

Got the AVS in channel wind deflectors on. Was on the fence about getting them in the first place. But they look muay calente and they give a bit for tint to keep the cabin dark during the hot summer months.

 

Haha I was thinkin of just putting black electrical tape over it but... prooooobably not a great idea.

I believe I just used a screwdriver to depress the tab. It's difficult so be careful because the tabs break easily

Sounds like you haven't taken the entire grill surround off the truck. They are all easily accessible then.
