    Quick question for the group. I just stuffed my 285/75/16 spare in the stock location, just had to bend the little metal "ears" back. I'm worried that it may be too close to the exhaust that it will melt. What do you guys think?

    there is NOT enough air gap to keep from cooking the rubber, I learned the hard way and wasted a good mud tire years ago doing similar, cooked (charred) and burned the lug next to the pipe. Rerouting the exhaust is an option
