Ok, I feel like a complete noob for asking, but I've owned Acura's for the last 10 years, I'm not sure what size bulb I need. One site listed an H4 (?), and another site listed a 9003. I'd really prefer the slim ballast hi/lo version, but want to make sure they will work.

I'll be installing these into a 2006 Tacoma DC.

No worries many people ask this. 9003=H4 same size Just be sure to PM me all the info requested in the first post to get in on the group buy.

Like eskamo said the kit for the fogs is H10. You can order a kit for any vehicle you own. I can get any of the above listed bulbs.

 

I'll be getting in on this GB for both the hi/low heads (H4) and the fogs (H10). Think I'm going with the 6,000's as I want the whitest light possible.

I just need the most light possible as I do not have very good eye sight at night.

IMO the whitest light would be 43400K and not the 6000K.

Yea but they are junk. There is a guy on here that is getting in on this group buy because he went through like 5 replacement kits on the ebay deal and is fed up with their quality. You kind of get what you pay for.

Agree but some people don't like the little yellow tint the 4300K come with and want the light blue tint instead. I agree though both 4300k and 6000k are both the brightest setups but just depend on what color appearance you want.

 

Not the greatest quality and good luck collecting on the warranty.

 

Yea forgot to mention that. Warranty is another nightmare. On here you have a direct connect with me for any warranty that might be needed.

 

I can tell you from experience that slim is great to work with on warranty. He was right on top of everything. Customer service is worth the extra money you pay for his lights. Thnks slim

Quick question: Is there any difference in light quality or quantity between the slim and normal ballasts? Do i really need the high beams, aren't the low beams pretty bright as it is?
