Finally got the mount from Wilco Off Road to mount my dual Rotopax Cans. Had Rotopax send me 2 matching locks just to make it easier.

well I asked for Matte Jet Black. but something tells me they will end up being gloss black, or pink who knows lol I hate being left in the dark, I don't even know if the guy started prepping them yet. they were pretty badly oxidized and all 4 were leaking air so I'm hoping that the pc will fix this. but I'm getting to the point now where I just want them back done or not haha the worst part is that my buddy is the one who is going to put the tires back on and balance them and well guess what, he's off work this week and is currently out of town! not impressed, I wont even have my truck back for the long weekend coming up I bet.

Pretty much squared away for now we're taking it on the maiden voyage this weekend. Just camp grounds for now until I figure out power demands for my CPAP. I'll need an adapter for DC power and may have to go to a 2 battery system with a solar panel to recharge. This part may have to wait 'til spring as you can guess I've dumped quite a bit of money already. This isn't a cheap venture

right on man! that's pretty cool haha there's definitely a lot of different way to rig up a solar set up so at least you will have time to figure exactly how you want to do it haha ill keep an eye on the camper build thread for future updates

Okay 2 questions: A. does this raise the reciever point 2" as that is how it looks in the pic and I have to use a 4" drop already. And, B. how far does the tire stick out as both the trailer and the camper have fixed tongue jacks?

Your welcome anytime! Other than the power all I have to figure out is a pottie, shower, and water. Maybe figure out how and where to mount the rotopax if I need them but then should be ready to go "off grid" for up to a week.

you could probably rig something up off the sides of the front storage box for the rotopax. hang a bucket somewhere for a pottie

Yes it raises the receiver up 2 inches and this is how far away from the tailgate it sits.
