    I wanna wheel with you!

You used to wheel a 2wd truck. I did the same, sort of, until I got my Taco. Always had 2wd trucks.
Only thing I ever had close to "prerunner" was a Ford Ranger Tremor.

Had maaco paint one for $250 a couple years ago. Looked good. If I had to do it again I'd paint it myself.

Id be willing to bet you could own this one with a DIY paint job for less than $500.

Yeah but the total would be around $1k with putting in work with painting, which A, I don't have time to do, and B, I never painted anything before so it'll look like crap. I have patience for the right cap to come along.

He means price of the camper + price of buying paint = less than $500 total.

I was figuring by the time you account for the CL haggle, you could buy the shell for $400. I know I could give it a "good enough" paint/bedliner job for less than a Hundo.

But that's all irrelevant if he's not interested in painting himself. Not everyone is a used parts whore like me and you zachk... ;)
