I saw these flares on a dealer lot, and I assume the dealer put the flares on . It looked good.

Amazon had them for $346 after rebate the other day. Keep checking them. Price changes. It wasn't on Prime day either.

You might want to do a tad of research.
Pictures are deceiving. "(Easy Snap-On ABS chrome decorative Rivets included) "
    Plastic !
Even reviewers say they are afraid they might fall out.
Bushwackers use the real deal, stainless bolts/nuts all the way.
    No wonder tyger are cheaper.

I bought these fender flares on Amazon. They fit pretty flush. You do have to remove the mud flaps and the plastic trim on the bottom of the bed if you have a sport if you want it to fit perfect by the bottom of the bed. But you can leave the plastic trim piece and it still looks ok. I think its worth the price. And it looks good in imo.

Did you use protection tape under the flare contact area on the body ?

Yes, i will get bigger tires and wheels later on and also level it out. Im just trying to get some use out of the stock ones.

I did not put any tape on there. If you look closely it comes with a rubber seal that attaches to the fender to make it fit more flush. So the rubber seal sits in between the fender and the contact area of the body. Im not sure how much dust and crud is going to get in there. If it gets scratched it will be underneath anyways.

I have seen other trucks that have the bushwacker fender flares and they are more round but still looks good. These are more angular and i think goes well with the over all look of the truck too.

The thing i dont like about it is the plastic rivets. I feel like later on they would have to be epoxied on or something. It does come with extra ones in the box. The rivets are not a smooth dome shape. They have like a raised star look which i didnt notice when i bought them. You can see them better on the Amazon posting. But you really don't notice it from far away.haha

IMO BW's look much better than the plain jane factory flares. Factory ones look too small.

I talk to them about their step for us to see if they could maybe make one with holes instead of the stars and he was going to pass that on to the parent company

They make your Taco look like a rusty old Dodge that needs to cover up the cancer around the wheel wells.

OK, finally got mine installed. I think it looks pretty good. I kept the black plastic pieces under the bed behind the rear tires, just trimmed them a little to allow a nice fit with them still on.
