Will do! I always take my Subaru to work since I have a 25 miles commute, so if you see some random Navy guy in a Subaru waving, it's me.

Hey guys, so after giving it a lot of thought, there's about a 95% chance that I'm going to be trading in the Taco sometime in the next month or so for a car.

If that does end up actually being the case, would anyone be interested in my Bestop for a 2nd Gen shortbed?

Duplicolor "dark toyota blue" rattle cans. Can make it happen.

Won't be professional, but won't look nearly as bad as tan

I love the truck, but a car just suits my needs a little better now than before. I found a used 2015 Subaru that looks nice and is about $2k cheaper than what I could trade the truck in for, I just need to go take it for a test drive this weekend. Lol

Hey hey, that's what I did 9 months ago. Traded the truck for a 2015 Subaru Legacy.

Haha nice! I found one that has relatively low miles not too far from me. I was between a Legacy and the truck when I bought it originally, but at the time the truck suited me a little better.

My truck is a 2013 and already has 115k miles on it, so I figure getting something with lower miles isn't bad. I'm also a consultant and have been getting a lot of projects in dc, Baltimore, and out in the eastern shore within the past year, so a car will be much easier for parking and gas.

My truck was also broken into two weeks ago in dc, so having a trunk to lock all my shit in would be nice too. It's kinda just been a lot of factors piling up over the past few months and having my window smashed out was really what made me commit to it.

Are you still looking at getting a Legacy?

You won't be disappointed. I have the 2.5i limited, and it's pretty swanky. If you can find one with it, get eyesight as well. My wife's Impreza has it and it's AWESOME. I regret not getting it.

Yea the one I'm looking at is a 2.5i premium and it looks really nice. It's used and I don't think it has eyesight, but it's got nav/backup camera, xm radio, leather, etc. only sticking point is that it has an accident on its record, so I'll have to look into that. If it was just minor body damage then whatever, but if it was a bad wreck then I'll keep looking around.

Yeah that's questionable. I bought mine Certified preowned, and even then had a whole bunch of dings and dents and some hack exhaust job on it that I didn't notice until a week later. Just make sure you really look over it! They're awesome cars though, and when you get one you'll be super happy.
