well if you guys got there early and held a spot down for my dad and potentially I then we can call is a wyo TW meet haha

 

Bob n Kayla may be in the area as well. He's with a group though from the sounds of it I've invited him to anything we dredge up. Not far from us, jen I and cal could easily come up as long as we leave early enough lol

 

well im sure there will be lots of people in the area. but that could be a good spot just filled with mostly locals i bet.

Well fuck me silly thats finally close to me! I'm actually working that day...why I agreed is beyond me..but Dubois is so close i done mind. When are you thinking about heading down?

 

I did. Took some modification to get correct fit and to keep from flopping around. I'll get pictures this weekend.

Probably. Or one over night. Calvin is 3 months so it's tough to do long trips. We won't be getting crazy haha

 

Dad is just going down sunday night. I may join. its just to view the eclipse. Not really for wheeling.

Tho its been 25 years ago, the bay area and San Francisco was a nice place to visit. A ton of stuff to do and see but not much wheeling I don't think. The coast south and north of there is very photogenic and worthy of a visit.

edit: Yeah, the old NUMMI plant is where the main Tesla plant is now.

 

Haha. KOH and NUMMI are not very near each other. Google says the direct route is an 8 hour drive, like ~500 miles. If you are going to do that, I highly recommend going up the coast highway, Highway 1, instead. It starts right by your old friend Timmy's turf, just north a Santa Barbara.

 

I've never been there personally, but my father in law says the road is in good shape. I'll be in the DUB with the kids, so barring anything unforeseen I'd head up. Like to pre-run it first to make sure I can make it in the 4 runner with highway tires.

Clutch is in along with the T belt and water pump, I can install those once I can put it back down on the ground. CBI got me and another guys order mixed up so my antenna mount should be here tomorrow
