Afternoons folks. Update going on in my world. Dad moved back to the house he was commuting to rock hill for work but got a job in Charleston so he's back after 3 years of commuting back and forth. Still trying to get things unpacked but happy to have him home again

Suppressed is still loud AF considering it's the middle of the night. There is always my .22 AR, I can suppress that with sub sonic loads, but then you'd really have pepper a coyote with .22.

@scottalot so you're a "smoker?" My wife just got me a new smoker last week for my birthday as my old one is basically falling apart. Might fire up something this weekend :hungry::drunk:

Sooo.. which is quieter... The pop of a .22lr shot? Or a squeeling, half-speared wild hog?

No one will ask questions when they hear wildlife making a 'normal' wildlife noise.
Now if they hear the pops of some rifles and THEN the squealing, that's when they'll get concerned.

Nice. I knew someone call you on meat picks...

I've done a lot of briskets, and none of them turned out awesome....one almost did. It was a huge full packer, I started at 9:00PM, planned to smoke through the night. It was coming along so so nicely. Better than any one I did before. The beers were going down so easy! Then about 2am my wife went into labor.....:):eek::) :annoyed:
