When you put in the fridge, you're not worried about it getting dry and tough? What kid of pit do you use? I have contemplated building a wood burning pitt from cinder blocks.

That's a good looking setup. I'd like to build a double barrel smoker after we build the house, two drums on top of each other with the wood in the bottom and meat on top. Either that or a side by side. The WSM is great, but I can only smoke so much on it at one time. I need something bigger.

    Something like this.

I always wanted to do something like this so you can roast a pig over hardwood, or smoke up a brisket using hardwood.

Yall want a cheap smoker, just get an old metal filing cabinet, cut the bottom out of all drawers except the bottom one and add expanded steel or chicken wire. Then, build a fire in the bottom drawer and put meat in the other drawers. YouTube has some vids on it.

I've been wanting to learn to weld for a while now. Something like this might be a good project to work towards. It would be neat to be able to build them and sell them for a profit.

Those are absolutely gorgeous, and something like what I have in mind for the new house. Probably wont be able to afford to do it right away, though.

My results would be similar. Definitely would have to have a contractor come in and do the work. Maybe luck up and meet that guy on the DIY network who meets people in Lowe's and Home Depot and offers to build their patios or whatever it is.

Edit: Yard Crashers, I think it is.
