I installed a used addicted offroad 4Runner bumper and new amber turn signals. I had to build a custom crossmember to properly secure it to the frame. I refinished it with POR15 system and finished it with 3 coats of the POR top coat.

That Wildernest looks sick! Is that a new canvas, looks super clean from the pictures (IG)? Obviously the shell looks to have been repainted at the very least.

No it's the original one I believe. It's definitely dirty and has a little mold and a couple small tears but for being at least 22 years old the things in amazing condition. He got it for a steal and has really only cleaned the tent material.

For those of you who have replaced your sway bar bushings, did you have to completely remove the bar or can the 2 brackets just be unbolted and the new bushings swapped in?

    Thx!

You can leave the bar in place.

However why not replace the end link bushings while you're at it?

Pulled a stalled out E-150 van from the passing lane of Interstate 95. The 01 regular cab 2.7L 4x4 did great. It felt awesome to clear a traffic jam.IMG_0425.jpg

There should be bushings on either side of the sway bar where the end link bolts through.

You can got however fast your truck can go in 4WD.

As long as you shift between 2 and 4 below 50.

I've driven miles on end at highway speeds in 4wd.

Thanks, really like the way the wheels look with the red!

Hopefully its just you lol!! There are more parts to the bumper that aren't pictured and I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking at it to see how it mounts and everything yet but i'm assuming its all there!

OME dakars. Shackle angle should change a little once i get rear bumper on, spare tire mounted, bed rack built and installed with the tent etc. And i'd imagine the springs will settle a little bit but i dont think it will be substantial.

    Thanks!

I did mine with Redline MT90. I also changed the seat and socket for the shifter with the Marlin Crawler parts. It felt like a brand new truck. Shifting was super smooth.
