Whats a Dodge or Chevy worth after 100K? Im not doubting that Toyota holds it value better, im just trying to understand why YOU think Ford is the worst. And yes, I understand it is YOUR opinion.

F150 cheap? I just priced a base one was 25k bare bones v6 the platinum close to 60k raptors same ball park. I agree Toyota holds resale 10x over that's a given but new trucks ain't for the poor...that's why I bought a 2yr old one my grandpa had a 90s model f150 straight 6 auto 2wd only option was a/c didn't even have 2nd tank he put 300k on it till he gave up his keys never had tranny rebuilt or valve cover off pretty reliable.

Show us where the bad F150 touched you...

Jeezus man. Did an F150 hunt down and kill your whole family? An F150 is worth the money they charge, a tacoma on the other hand....I don't think so. For the same money that I got my Tacoma for, I could have had an F150 with more much more power, better economy, more space, better amenities, etc. I highly doubt it is going to be falling apart at 100k like you seem to think. My Tacoma doesn't have an outside temp gauge/compass anymore, no power seats, no dual zone climate control, no heated seats (let alone cooled ones), a somewhat rudimentary infotainment setup in comparison, and one of the most ridiculous items...no auto up windows! Many of these are trivial, but still insane to me that they havent been able to build it into the truck.

Granted I bought this for its mildly more compact size, aftermarket support and slightly better longevity, as well as some amount more simplicity, but if i didn't already have a fullsize chevy I wouldn't have paid the same amount of money for less truck.

As for the f250. Who the hell designs an evaporator core to fail after 65k miles
    ill tell you why.
    Poorly designed
    Hard to work on
All the little electrical components will fail all the damn time. Everything from the seat motors to mode door actuators
If you live in a humid climate with the 3.5 and get hard on the throttle you will suck up a bunch of water and start misfiring
The 3.5 timing chain rattle on start up
    Sticking brake calipers
No alignment eccentrics from the factory
Transmission is a pain in the ass to service
Those stupid engine covers made out of cheap hotel room carpet
The coolant that leaks from the lines that go to the turbos
I can keep going if you want me to.

I think when he says the F150 is "cheap", he means that it is cheaply built....and he couldn't be more right.

Some people are gay for fords. That's ok. I'm just not a sucker that gets scammed into buying one.

Nope. I refuse to date chicks that drive American shit because I'll get stuck fixing it. My girl drives a Nissan Altima and I like it that way.

I'm pretty sure the reason the F150s are the nation's top seller isn't because they're cheap for the average buyer, I can almost guarantee its because they have a very popular fleet program...Just about every company with a vehicle fleet drives fords. In construction, most every single company has fleet F150s as their general truck of choice...

Shit man I wish. I havent even driven it without him in it. That thing is his baby. It sits in his climate controlled garage and is hardly ever driven.

I use to like ford. But then I became an auto mechanic. That will change any mans thoughts on ford fast.
