Just a guess, but looking at the front logo on the new grill, it looks like the new Tacoma will have the pre-collision safety sense. The front smooth logo's are usually where the radar is behind.

1.The reason that you are seeing a new and re-designed Camry is because the midsize sedan market(which they have owned forever) is being canibalized by the CUV market.
Toyota always has and always will be evolutionary, not revolutionary.
If it's not broke dont fix it...they were never going to jeprodize the number 1 selling car in the world by making radical change just for the sake of it.
With the new Camry they had the foresight to see the attrition of the segment and made an attempt to fend off its collapse.
    2) Toyota spends something like a million dollars a day on R&D...they have been the leader in that for meany years along with advanced technology. Think Prius, EVs and hydrogen cel vehicles.

The Pro Grille already has a boxed section in it for that Safety Sense crap.

Huge improvement for the TRD. I feel like someone accidentally switched the grille on the Limited and TRD and just went with it. The 2016 Limited's dark gray grille would have matched the wheels (on the Off Road at least) and the chrome should have been on the Limited.

This 2018 grille looks dark gray also. Obviously this is proof Toyota realized they messed up with this, I don't think it is normal for Toyota to update the Tacoma only two years later, usually a refresh takes more time with their trucks.

I was hit by the Camry, drunk driver.

I am still trying to find another Tacoma. I can't find a nice 6speed double cab anywhere. It is driving me absolutely insane.

All the sales people I've spoken to recently say they have a hard time going push start because so many truck owners lock and unlock their bed.

I didn't think the honeycomb grille could get any uglier. I do notice that it has the pre-collision system emblem, though.

Yep, that's the PCS. That means the trucks are going to cost more now.
