Honestly, the black one is a huge improvement over the current TRD OR/Sport grille.

I would not say that. If I knew I would not miss owning a truck I would have my arse sitting in a 2018 Camry Sport. (SE or XLE)

I wonder if 2018 owners will still be able to upgrade their grills to the TRD Pro grill if the sensors are integrated in the emblem housing?

Your speakers are fine if you listen to AM talk radio. The 236HP V6 in my 09 sounds like it's going to explode when towing my boat up a .005% grade. I'm not sure 40HP is going to cure that. Stopping while towing with drums.......forget about it. What I want is to be able to use my truck like a truck.

There is gonna be a TRD Pro in 18 so I see no reason why you could not swap for the grille

I just don't see it making a big impact. People that want sporty sedans will just buy base model BMW/Mercedes.

Little Old lady Ms. Jones down the corner doesn't care about 301hp neither does the square-bear father of 3 accountant.

Toyota is trying to make a change despite owning the number one selling brand in the most important car market (America) according July sales numbers. As a Company, Toyota is barely below GM in the American market with only three brands compared to GMs fifty thousand.

the grill will fit, but will you need to purchase new sensors for the Pro Grill. That will be expensive.

I would imagine you just transfer the sensors from the stock grille over to the Pro Grille

unless its integrated in the grill emblem like it is on my wifes Lexus. The models without the safety stuff has a different emblem on them that cost way less. I guess if you really gotta have the pro grill, gotta pay the price for new sensors...

I have a Pro Grille on mine and there is a boxed section, looks like it would go in easy enough but who knows.

Current Pro Grille has a boxed section which is obviously there for that Safety Sense stuff

Don't think that would be possible because the emblem IS the sensor.

Well, that's a bit of an improvement over the current grills. I just want more manual transmissions.

According to that, it's saying black is going to be discontinued on all models...that is surprising. Thought black was a pretty popular color.

They also are adding another Black to replace the discontinued one.

Toyota Owns the CUV market as well. They are neck and neck with Nissan. The Highlander is also a top seller.

I don't know what the margins are in the Sedan market vs. the CUV market, but Toyota is the leader in both markets, I don't see why they would panic if their Sedan sells fall while their CUV sells move up.

The new TRD OR one is alright. Definitely prefer it to the old TRD OR grill but it's no TRD Pro grill lol. New sport grill is atrocious. Worst one I've seen yet.
