You know if i could see your face i would accept this as a valid submission! I am trying to put a face to the truck so people know who to look for when they show up to meet & drinks!

@Silverspool did you use a hi-lift jack out there? I need to get a base for mine, i am concerned with it slipping, more so if its wet out!

Was it hard to find a stable spot or did it feel solid out there?

 

So i looked at the Austin Area Chapter thread and it looks like they are just posting pics of people rides, if you dont want your face to go with your truck that is fine, but it would make it easier to find people at meetups and possible remember names....

 

I was directed where to stop my truck and before i knew it someone had jammed a hi lift in my front bumper. I dont recall how it was set up but i recall not having an issue changing the tire while it was up.

@Suprajim54 u were right about the rgb rock lights.. the "white" looks terrible. The other pointless colors are dope though.

 

Looks like Saturday is starting to pull ahead of Sunday.

I have work Saturday, so I'm out if that's when it happens.

 

From what I remember, they just lifted off the tube bumper not a shackle or anything.

I've thought about getting a 4 pod RGB kit and wiring it in with the other white rock lights. The RGB kits will work off a remote or bluetooth app, so I could always kill the Fairy Lights and just leave the white on for the trails. At this point, I'm still at the "no one cares to see my 5100's" stage, so no mall crawler lights until I have the Kings to show off.

Yeah i put my lights on the body so the sus isnt lit up or anything. May move em but not any time soon. The bluetooth control is pretty neat being able to choose colors and turn them on/off.

 

Good to hear. I think they're now my backup plan.

 

I can bring a camera and tripod to the meet if anyone wants picture time. The next Tacos en el Lago might be a better time for that, though. Are there any "scenic" spots near the meet up this weekend? Or Toyota HQ maybe?
