DSM owners WASSUP!!!!! BE PROUD TO STAND OUT!!!

I'd like to know how many others, besides myself, enjoy having a taco of a color that not everyone else has. I could have gotten mine in red or blue or black but that's too trendy for me! IMO. No offense to those who own the "popular" color tacos BTW. I just wanna know that i'm not the only DSM owner cuz all I ever see is the usual thing on the road!!
So post a pic even if it's not some crazy mod but a stock truck. Mine is bone stock now cuz let's face it having two boys can be pretty expen$ive! When she gets paid off next year i'm gonna go off on that biotch!! For now all i've done is the Maglight mod and lined the storage compartments with rubber ( soon to be redone in a more professional manner btw), and i've swapped the stock antenna for the billet stubbie that i had on my last taco as well. No idea what the future holds though. So show me whacha got so I can steal YOUR ideas!! HA HA LOL!

 

I guess it's a matter of choice. I think DSM does not stand out as much as a bright baby blue truck or a red truck...but that's me!

A actually really like that color. They never had that color on the lot when I was looking for my truck. I still like my SSM but also like the DSM.

 

the funny thing is, people who do the popular thing or don't do the popular thing BECAUSE IT'S THE POPULAR THING - are letting that dictate their choice.

in other words, people who rebel and try to be different, are being as conformist as everyone else....

i get the color i like the most, regardless of it's popularity.

 

Dually noted my friend, but as i have said I started this thread to hear from others who enjoy the AWESOMENESS that is the DSM tacoma!! If you have to drive what everyone else drives go ahead bro that's cool. Me, i'm sticking to DSM! It hides dust like a champ much like my first taco an 04' white DC TRD OR. More than I can say for the "other guys colors". I'm not saying that the other colors aren't good looking cuz that would be blasfemous! I've seen some great looking Tacos rolling around here and they're always the same ol' thing Blue, Red, Black, White all with over the top chrome rims that look like they belong on an escalade or something. (GEESH GET A CLUE) It's a truck, keep it that way! But I digress. Hopefully none of my statements have ofended any of the taco owners here. Believe me, I'm not prejudice against the other colors just partial to my own that's all! Peace, love, good weather, and safe travels to everyone!

For real, silver by far the most common around here. DSM would be least common.

 

okay, we got to get some DSM pics in here (even though there's already a DSM thread)

No silver!!! what the heck kind of poll is this? There are also two shades of blue... Gay blue and manly blue.

 

Seems like half the Tacomas I see are silver and I rarely see DSM or Pyrite Mica.

 

Ok guys i forgot some of the colors and some of the shades. Soooorrrrry! I threw out the colors i could remember and like i said i couldn't remember the names of all the colors.

Funny thing is i've heard more from other taco owners praising thier color than i've heard from DSM owners! {the purpose of this thread in the beginning.} Come on guys and gals, speak up and show your ride! I have seen some bad a$$ lookin DSM's, albeit not in my area, so i know they are out there!! Later!

I love my Marble Blue with matching Topper. It does stand out. In the 3 weeks that I've owned it I've already had good commits on it.
