Thanks! Theyre wet okole's! Also, if youre looking to get them imprinted with that or something similar, theyll put just about anything you want on them if you send them a picture of it. I found that imprint here on TW somewhere

That's what I got , I don't use my seatbelt and the blinking lights drive me nuts . I don't have the chime

You can also trace your seatbelt connector and make your own out of old debit cards , if your really cheap . It takes 10minuted

unplugging it under the seat does the exact same thing as plugging in some device/clothespin or whatever you wanna stick in it. Its a normally closed circuit, causing the light on the dash.. If the weight sensors sense something in the seat with the circuit still closed, it gives you a ding and light.. Plugging something in breaks the circuit, turning the light off... Unplugging it also breaks the circuit.. turning the light off,, making it think it is plugged in.

I had a set of the simple plug-in thingys, problem was that when I reached one of those situations where I needed to have the thing on--where it was going to be evident I was not wearing it and had to buckle it up NOW--getting the thingy out and seat belt in was quite awkward. The extenders solved all of that, and really did make them easier to use. My wife (who always wears the silly thing) made me get a pair for her Highlander because of the improved ease of use...

Nope, I sit in my seat all the time without the seat belt and never a single ding, dong or light whatsoever and I'm plenty heavy.

Then actually there is something "wrong". Disabling the chime in the customizations does not disable the warning light, just the chime. Have you owned the truck since new, perhaps a previous owner took one of the actions described above to disable the chime and light?

well, I do have the sea belt delete thingys inserted which in my truck stops all that stuff from happening. The truck thinks the seat belt is inserted.

Yeah,, that's exactly what I said.. Plugging that thing into it does the EXACT same thing as unplugging the connector under the seat.. Breaking the circuit. Making it think the belt is plugged in. Except that unplugging it under the seat is free.

Very true but like someone said above the extender serves a second purpose and that is to extend the latch making it easier to find for us fat guys... ;)

I hated the seat belt chime and the door chime. Fixed both by simply removing the little speaker thingy from the back of the instrument cluster. Took 15 minutes.

Another great idea... I'm not a buzzer guy at all, hate the hell out of them but the door buzzer has saved my bacon a time or two... ;)

My truck will not let me lock the keys in if they are in the ignition. That's the only time the buzzer made noise , so it made no difference to me.
