I am having the same problem with my truck. It is getting worse by the day. I went by my dealership and the SA agrees with me that it is not normal. He is getting me some new springs under warranty. I am not to confident that the replacments they put on will be any better. Suspension is stock with no major loads ever put on it in 17k miles.

Truck has absolutely no rake left. If anything I have Cali lean going on with the taco lean I already had. I would be on the bumpstops with 350lbs in the bed. Ridiculous.

They were soft on the older trucks, too. Although I don't remember my stock '91 springs ever being in recurve like my Taco.

The stock '08 springs did a negative arch but I got it used at 42K miles. The recall springs they put on were better but I replaced them with OME after a couple of thousand.

Does Toyota still offer TSB springs for people who complain about this?

Yes unloaded. Never really had any major weight in the truck. Moved a couch once. About 75lbs of recovery gear and tools lives back there.

No man they are just 265s.

That was what I complained about and dealer said it's normal. Real trucks have stiff springs and jump up when they hit a bump. I loaded my trd-or with a lot of lumber and it was ok.

Shocks wouldn't effect that really. They just dampen the movement.

This thread made me check my rear springs today...2017 DCLB OR 1700 miles, and they look just like the OPs...just doesn't seem right. I will be asking my dealer about this for sure at the 5K mile service.

Added the AAL on stock leaves and they were flat with just weight of the cap, granted this is on a second gen but I'd agree stock leaves are crap on these trucks

Did you ever check with your dealer about this? If so, what did they say? I have a 2017 TRD OR Longbed with 2500 miles nothing in my my bed expect of an empty
aluminum tool box, never hauled more than 75 lbs and it looks just like yours.

    Why do you say
your truck is under waranty just let the dealer put on new leafs, if they fail they have to replace them again under warranty until your warranty expires which is 1 year from installation -or- 3 years 36000 miles from purchase unless you have the extended warranty.

PS it is it failing more on one side than the other? If it is not a weight in bed issue an rather a failed leaf then this would be the case, however leaf springs are usually made in large batches and if the leafs are failing like you say most likely there are others with the same problem and the metal used to create the leafs is bad and a recall would have to happen for all trucks using the leafs of the same manufacturing batch. I am interested to see where and how this goes because of the whole 2nd generation 2+1 --> 3+1 leaf spring event.
