Question for third gen owners.

Have you guys hear a light gurgling or crackling sound under light acceleration between 10 and 40 mph? Its faint but definitely there. Just want to know if it normal or something I need to get checked out.

Could possibly be a/c draining or water moving through heater coil. Hope you can get it figured out.

 

Any chance it sounds like engine knocking/pinging, like from cheap gas? I have heard this with mine a couple of times recently, though it's pretty random. It's quick but your mph is about right. Front or back of truck?

 

I had it a couple times when my truck was young, it's fine, it'll drive itself out of it.

 

Its sounds like its front center console. In between the dash and floorboard I guess. My truck has 18000 miles so not sure if that still in the young stage that BeverNation was talking about?

 

Well that sounds different than pinging/knocking which I typically hear outside of the cab. If you can reproduce it I'd ask your dealer. Good luck.
