a lot of times, the little point breaks off in the finger without you knowing and it just goes downhill from there. ive had a pinfish spine in my finger a few times where it only came out a month or so later. ive had shrimp stab me and leave stuff only to come out later on too. ive been lucky and not had really bad infections from it. ive had coworkers in the past that had the spines come out years later. yea. years. they had forgotten about it until it randomly started swelling and being super painful until finally they got surgery on it and bam, they pull out a spine. some people are more susceptible to the infection.

And if it shows any sign of infection, get yo' broke ass to a doctor! If you work for a living, you can't afford to lose a finger.

It's crazy how long some stuff can hang out in your body. I just pulled out an oak splinter that I'd had in my knuckle for a couple of years a few weeks ago. Had a little lump that would occasionally swell up a little bit and be irritated, then go back down. Hadn't really thought about it much, but one evening I'm sitting on the couch and it's swollen and bugging me, so I lanced it and gave it a good squeeze and out shot this splinter. Lump was totally gone by the next morning. But I'd had it in there for at LEAST two years, possibly longer.

I know! My personal opinion is that it was detail day and he needed to make some contacts and write a few citations. No reason for him to "shake em down" like he did. He could have easily said "Guys I appreciate what you're doing down here but make sure you wear a personal flotation device. I don't want to have to write you a ticket."

Truth can be stranger than fiction...

Shaquille O’Neal says he’ll run for sheriff in Henry County in 2020

Retired basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal says he’s serious about a career in law enforcement and he told The Washington Post that he plans to run for sheriff in Henry County in 2020.

Keith McBrayer has been Henry County’s sheriff since 2008.

The 45-year-old O’Neal said he recently bought a home in the county after signing a multi-year contract extension with TV network TNT, where he is a studio analyst for NBA games.

The 7-foot-1 O’Neal has been a deputy marshal in Lafayette, La., a reserve police officer in Florida, and he was sworn in as a sheriff’s deputy in Clayton County last year.

He is going to have to carry a Desert Eagle because any other handgun is going to look like a noisy cricket in his hands.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
I guess more people need to get informed again to keep away from the racist bullshit (see CoC).

Want to post a fucked up story, go ahead. No one needs the opinion-based drivel afterwards, especially if it's breaking CoC.

I'm sure some smart ass will try to loophole this, so let me add: If the fucked up story also contains the racist bullshit, it breaks the CoC as well.
