I know. I have friends who grew up there and some friends in vegas. It's quite scenic. I have family that's in socal too and like to visit, but would never live there. It's just too damn hot down in AZ for me most of the year. I'll take 75 over 105 anyday. I'm 20 minutes from the city/water, 30 minutes from the mountains here. 1.5 hours from the coast. If you haven't been to Seattle in a while you wouldn't recognize it at all in some areas...ton has changed in the last 10 years or so (thanks Amazon...)

    There have been many rumors;
    1) robots over torqued nuts
    2) gasket was pinched during installation
    3) Protective film wasn't removed before install

    etc etc

    We may never know..

All that means is that NYC has shitty weather too :rain::D

Just looked it up for 2016 Seattle had 71 "mostly sunny" days last year.... while it rained 152 days. You're right that it doesn't rain 8 months out of the year like a lot of people think, but the problem isn't so much the rain for most people, its the GRAY. GRAY GRAY GRAY only place with more gray I've ever been is London. I visited some family near seattle a few years ago, I was there for over 2 weeks and literally did not see the sun once, not even a peak (it was October). It didn't even rain that much and when it did it only rained for an hour or two then stopped, but it was constantly gray and damp the ENTIRE time

I'm from the PNW as well but bro you overcompensated and swung too far the other way! Are you drying yourself out from all those years in Washington? :)

Come join me in San Diego, I don't even have a heater nor A/C, my electricity bill is $50-$60/month year round for a 1,500 square foot house.

Of course you'll probably have to leave half your guns as they won't be CA legal, and you'll be surrounded by liberals like me :rasta:

All the recalls ? :facepalm:Seems like you like to stretch the truth around here I see.
Only part recall I know of is the CPS and thats about 40,000 of them out of 500,000+sold. A diffy gasket if it leaks, $1 ?
Want to talk about takata air bags ?
I would be wondering how I was going to upgrade that 2nd hen 4 cyl you have if I were you.

Strange to see threads and people with this problem lately, didn't hear of anyone with issues of the brake light leaking last year until just recently...

Little long, but some really compelling info. Strong testimonials from top ranking military officials, politicians, to the average joe. (That really have more to loose than to gain from this) even Dan akyroid has a good speech in there.
It's not the stereotypical little green men.
    Enjoy:)

Read Lesley Keen UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record. The documentary Out of the Blue is excellent.

2017 we're going to smash that, considering we're close to breaking our amount of days without measurable rain (51 days). I don't mind the gray at all. I actually like the beaches when it's gray over blindingly sunny. You went in during peak gray season lol. It's best to come during the summer or early fall (we have late summers sort of like SF) and enjoy the sun until 9pm.

What's sad is that Seattle/Bellevue is almost up in SD prices. An unrennovated 1,400 sq/ft rambler sold here for 1 mill. With renovations probably would be around 1.2 or so.

My own house has almost doubled in value in the last 5 years; it's insane. I couldn't afford to buy my own house right now without the equity I have. Sometimes it's tempting to sell and move out to NC or what not and have a nice ass house fully paid off with just the equity I built up...but then I'd have to live in NC again.

OP - you're fine, stop reading this forum or you will believe all this stuff will happen to your truck. Here in NH we get rain, some down pours, truck been through the auto washer at gas stations and I have washed it multiple times. O shit been through one NH winter and my truck has never seen a garage. It down poured yesterday for ~30 to 45min as it has multiple times this spring/summer. No leaks.. go figure

Dear god no. Wouldn't sell my soul for a blue badge. I have friends who do/used to. Most people get burnt out in about 5 years and move on. If they stay they end up being middle/upper management, but work long hours for their high pay. Not worth it to me.
