Very easy. Just make sure that you can take the fill bolt off BEFORE the drain plug. If not, you'll have to fill it through the inside of your truck (removing shifter).

Have you changed the shifter seat and socket? If you haven't, I recommend doing it when you do the oil, and get the parts from Marlin Crawler. I did the oil, seat, and socket all around the same time. A couple of weeks between oil and parts. Just the change of oil made a big difference. But when I did the seat & socket, I thought I was driving with a new transmission. Shifting was smooth, and the stick was tight.

Battery light flickers and eventually stays on.
Redid my negative battery terminal and lines last week when it came on, now it's back.
Going to check my positive lines when I get home. Hopefully I don't have to replace anything.

Its a wasp nest in there, dirt, dead leaves. But mainly a wasp nest. Gotta vacuum that all away and clean up a bit before continuing the maintenance.

Red locktite and you don't have to worry about it at all.

That's probably true. Sadly they never made a 5' one and I'm 6' anyways so that wouldn't be great anyways if they did haha

    I wouldn't recommend this.

Those bolts don't catch that many threads into the spindle. Adding a thick washer makes that even less.

Stick with locktite (I prefer blue), good bolts, and proper torque, and you'll be fine.

Anyone out there with a 4cyl that has replaced their clutch and likes their new one. I figure since I'm going to be in there anyway I might as well change my clutch since I hate the way it feels.

Haha def wasn't going to get a parts store brand. Although I have a friend with a Chevy S10 and he used a Duralast and it ended up being a LUK clutch in a Duralast box, so I suppose some of them are okay.

Speaking of duralast. Went to the parts store for wires and they gave me duralast. Should i return them and go OEM? They are lifetime so i can swap them once a year with the warranty.

The spark plugs are NGK and they have 1 year warranty so dude told me to swap them out every year. Not a bad deal on those

Easy but messy for sure. Anytime I'm pulling the boots out and cleaning all the grease away to get to the c clips and see wtf I am actually doing, plus cleaning the shaft to prep for the boot slide mod at the same time involves a jump suit and a fuck ton of paper towels. Fucking with the giant C clip takes me 20 minutes alone even with a good set of snap ring pliers so if you can do all that in 20 minutes color me impressed. :p
