@StreetTaco09 did you replace the UCA's, if not any issues with the alignment? I got the same truck and was looking to do the same set up.

Ugh. I just bought new tires and wheels before finding this thread (265/70/17) and I'm thinking they'd look too small if I went with this setup.:frusty:

I ran this tire size and set up for a bit, and it was fine. The key is an aggressive tread.

No alignment issues for me. I purposely went with this lift package in hopes that I would not need the UCA's replaced. When talking to Headstrong they didn't think I would need to replace them, so I bought the package without buying them. They have a deal where if you need them after install they will sell them to you at the discounted price you could have bought them for originally in the package. Made it an easy decision.

I kept the overload in and it rides great. I have 884 coils on the front that is the difference but stills rides better than stock.

well the front shocks are cake if they are already assembled. after you take off the wheel its literally just 4 bolts holding it in(3 at the top coil bucket and one on the lower control arm mount). since you're adding in new UCA's it would be easiest for you to put the new shocks in after the old UCA are removed.then reinstall the new UCA after the coils have been installed
i used this video for the front https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbsTJgb6S_c

note: removing the UCA is a PITA. it is not as easy as it looks in the video. probably the best advice i could give here is to find new UCA bolts and just cut the old one out. seriously. if you dont then just take your time and dont cry.
when installing the new UCA put the bolt in backwards than the way they came out. just in case you need to remove again then it will be muuuuch easier.

as for the rear. the AAL will go right under the leaf springs but right above the Overload spring, unless you dont want the overload spring in which case you would just throw the AAL right at the bottom of all the leaf springs.

Rear shocks can be a pain if you don't have a 5mm open ended wrench to keep the shock shaft from spinning while taking off the nut. My solution was taking an angle grinder to the shock shaft to flatten two sides, then just use channel locks to keep it from spinning.

For the AAL, it goes in between the overload and the bottom of the oem leaf pack. Except that pin in the AAL goes through all the leafs. You can also see the bracket on the overload that I was talking about in our PMs.

the shop i brought mine to just cut the whole top shaft off under the nut and called it a day. i asked for the shocks back (not knowing they'd do this) and was surprised to find that.

Yeah, becaues the leaf pack is now thicker. I installed a 3 leaf AAL w/o the overload in for a buddy, and his stock U bolts still fit so we just reused them.
