Had my Taco taken from me by the dealer. Unsafe to drive they said. I don't know where they got that idea from....

They definitely made the right call on that one. That's very unsafe.

45,000 miles since March 2016. She probably could have went that much more and then some. Still hauled an enclosed trailer and rode without a shimmy one.

It's gonna be okay. I've been waiting to get this new frame for a year now. It's given me plenty of time to think about Mods.
Her new homes in GA so should look pristine for many years to come.

The same shit everyone else has.
Meguiars Mirror Glaze 205 Ultra finish. I hit it with 105 Ultra Cut the other day. I'm in the process of giving it a quick 2 step paint correction.

I'll be sealing it with Optimum Optiseal Think of the Optiseal as basically a hard crystal clear UV resistant candy shell over the paint. It seals in the shine created by the polish. It makes maintaining the paint much easier.

The Optiseal makes for a real nice base for carnuba wax. I'll be putting down a layer of Butterwax on top of it.

I'm jelly. I'm not a fan of going above 70 because the twitchy steering. Not that I feel unsafe, but it could be more stable.

Is it ok to have that much of a difference between the left and right caster?
I always thought it needed to be closer to the same number

I can't remember if it's caster, but one of the adjustments is purposefully different to account for road crown.

I don't have a cover. I just replace the unit every couple years. Also, I don't want some dolt getting buggered up trying to remove a cover to help save the day in the event I can't get to it.
