The RTT weighs 180lbs. The Hitch Rack only weighs about 35lbs. by itself. She's going to be mainly using the hitch rack for firewood and a few other items so give or take an additional 80-100lbs. Coolers were on there just for reference. I also got her a waterproof bag for the hitch rack that fits exactly the size of the rack so the wood stays dry. The TRD Pro Springs are 550-600# springs. I've not been able to confirm which ones exactly but from all my research and talking with the dealer before its arrival, they said the same thing. We moved the RTT forward specifically due to the added weight from the hitch rack.

Last weekend was a good test for her road trip and why we moved the RTT up. With 2 dogs, two coolers and other gear I could feel the rear was really weighed down making the front feel a bit light. Now with it more center, it feels better going down the road and allows for weight to be put on the hitch rack. Fishing was just amazing last weekend man. Crystal clear water all the way out to the 3rd sand bar. Great moon light and clear sky's. Still have fish in the freezer I need to cook up.

Got my first pair back in the 70's (when I was just a wee lad).....great all around boot. Slippery on hard packed snow & ice though.

They are good boots, just not in that color lol.

I used to have a high top pair that were insulated for when we traveled to the mountains

Grew out of them and never been replaced....

Nothing says Texas like fuchsia duck boots from a company in Maine.

(They are great for that part of the country, though. Or anyplace that gets a lot of snow or ice.)

I've heard that Austin isn't really TX though, so doesn't he get a pass?
