This guy was one of the reasons I got one. This was from 2005ish.

The trick to these is that you have to have a super clean fine tip sharpie line. Unlike long scissors, that smooth out your cut, the cut is maybe 1/2" at a time. Make a really clean line and follow it accurately.

Yeah, I mean I was stupid naive back then, had just had a fellow TWer help install my MT stuff on the prerunner, got about halfway home realized there a knocking from the front end (rims loose rocking on the front end) didn't figure it out til I got home, though I stopped about 5 times. Figure it out, went to tighten, my 19mm socket is missing where I kept it with my lug lock. Had been to the dealer the week before. Yay.

So yeah, not only that but I'd been trying to buy the lifetime from them as well, the dude tried to accuse me of taking them off with a tool in the parking lot and scamming them. The master tech was there the whole time just shaking his head and told the guy to give me my refund, and he'd reprimand the junior tech

Thanks to @erok81 for the hookup on the T-slot aluminum. This plus a crapload of hardware. Switched my cabinet build plan from Quickframe to T-slot.



And his truck is badass. One of the nicest trucks and definitely the best 3rd gen I've ever seen. Sorry @Porter707

 

I've been debating between quick frame and t-slot for future cabinets. I'll be interested to see how you use it.
