My understanding was that his issues were caused by the pants-on-head retarded UK laws that require immobilizers where the cops can shut your car off remotely. No one had ever had to put one on a GT before and so it turned into an epic clusterfuck.
So were you locked for most of that run? I'm gonna wager that maybe that was a little too aggressive of a trail for my truck in its current state.

Sycamore and Butcher swallow a lot of prerunners in that sand, just ask Brian.

Sunday afternoon run out near Florence junction. Fun fast stuff with miles of trails to run.

Anyone interested? I'll start a lil thread if some of you wanna go.

Monsoons rutted out a lot of the hill climbs causing more dips/3 wheeling. Nice thing about Butcher is it's open and has a lot of different climbs/bypasses you can pick from. Locker was a life saver, I back tires were in the air a few times. Only thing is my tire threads are complete shit.

Weighing options for this weekend and floating the idea of Broken Arrow. How gnarly is it?

Also looking at the weather forecast for Sedona Saturday and there's a 50% chance of rain. Super sketch in the rain?

I'm not a seasoned wheeling vet so suggestions/advice is welcome.

Ya I know sand is the biggest obstacle for prerunners in general, at least out here. I've been down Sycamore a few times but never all the way to the "creek" proper, usually just 2-ish miles down the trail looking for shooting spots, and my truck handles that with no issues whatsoever.

I'm guessing it gets worse after the monsoons though.

I'd love to kick out the tail and get some dusty drifts going but aaaaaaaaaaaaa I still have that stupid insurance tracker on my truck.:( I've already maxed the discount at 40% (I know they're gonna figure out some way to avoid giving me the full 40:jerkoff:) but I just gotta keep myself good for 2 more months and then I can send it back.

It's very doable wet or dry. Amazing trail!

    On a different note/trail:
Wife and I are headed up through Show Low, FR300, and back to I17 for a day run.

Want to check out some cabins in the Show Low area to stay at in the future. Any suggestions?
