    Can't see the LBJ's due to the covers on them and regardless you can't really determine the life of a LBJ by pics. How many miles? I highly recommend getting new ones as they are very prone to fail at higher mileage/age over time.

    The tie rods look fine, no rips, but do you have any vibration or steering issues?

    155k currently - LBJs were replaced in 2015 as part of the recall. Don't have the mileage handy when they were replaced. Alignment tech screwed it up since I have a drift to the left issue. Going to find another alignment shop.

    Buy a torque wrench. Check them regularly. Also, keep sockets/wrench where you know where they are ;)

    This is like the stuff my roof rack rail thingers are made from. I'm thinking about making a basket out of expanded metal for the bottom and run something like this for the sides. I only want to keep light weight stuff up there like recovery gear, solar panel, third passenger etc.

    You're good on the LBJ's then. It's when they are over 150k that you start having issues.
