Yes CBI now owns and operates the PRINSU line of roof racks. I (previous owner) will be working with them over the next few months still during an transition but all orders placed as of June 15th are now being fulfilled by them. This is in an effort to provide better customer service and shorten lead times.

Okay thanks!...Same prices and materials? I looked on cbi website and couldn't find them that's why I asked. Another fall group buy is probably a no go? I was looking forward to it and had money set aside for this one. Lol

Ordering can still be done through the PRINSU website. They are using all the same materials and machinists I used for now and pricing I believe also is staying the same now. Not sure about a group buy. You will have to talk to them and see about it.

is there still a 4-6 week lead on orders for racks or is inventory now available for shipping upon order?

I think your best bet is to call CBI and ask them. Zach is no longer involved in new orders and their delivery.

Curious as to what you're going to do with yourself after the transition period with CBI is done Zach? Going to free up a lot of time I assume yes?

    Great idea!

Just got off the phone with CBI who said they're doing their best but still quoting 4-6 weeks lead time.

Believe it or not I have had a full time day job the entire time I owned and operated PRINSU. Now that CBI has taken over I have my evenings and nights back to spend more time with my family and hopefully get out and use my truck a little more.

I contacted Zack a couple weeks ago and he said my rack was lost somewhere in transit. Zack emailed me today and my rack will be shipping tomorrow.

I have had one on my tacoma and my wifes 4runner. It was a yakima box and the mounts were pretty tight in the middle but it did work.

I ended up making my own mounts out of aluminum plates because the hole options in this box for mounting were just shy of 2" spacing and wouldn't work with the cross bars, didn't want to drill more holes in the box either.. I trust my mounts more anyway.

Above post is all I did and it's good to go. This is an older style box and mounting option do vary.. this was the stock option my box came with
