    ***update*** Looks like I'm going to relocate then shock mounts. Any experience with the TC kit or Bamf??

    Hey guys recently pulled the trigger on rear All Pro leafs for my 04. Trying to get a good rear setup to match my mid travel up front. And I want to do it right. I would like to match the kings I just got up front, but the oem replacements are a tad short... about 0-1" of lift capacity. Anyone have an idea or part # for a king shock that would be able to handle the lift in the rear (about 2"?) and would be able to fit stock shock mounting locations , I've looked at 10" but just think it would be too long . Thanks for helping guys :)

    There are a LOT of variables to really know for sure (not that I pretend to know off the top of my head anyway, lol). Best thing to do is get the pack installed first, then take your measurements. You can get the shocks in pretty much any length you want.

    Also, before pulling the trigger on some spendy rear shocks, consider your shock locations. There are guys fitting 12" shocks without cutting into the bed. Might be something to consider to take full advantage of the new leafs and expensive shocks.

    Although, if it's your daily driver, kind sucks to drive to work with no shocks, lol...

    If that's the case, you could get a set of 5100's, get your measurements, then sell them when your Kings arrive?...

    Btw, I'm in the final stages of installing my own ext travel kings and total chaos ucas. Nice choice.

    I haven't been able to find rear King shocks for a 2"+ lift (that aren't some kind of special order or $1k)

    I'm in a similar situation, although I've already got my Kings and OME Dakar pack in. I removed the 3rd leaf in the pack, so I sit probably closer to 1.75" I love the ride, very comfortable.

    For DD it's fine, but I'm a little worried about blowing the bottom out if I do anything at speed on a dirt road.

    I've been thinking of just going with some Icon 2.0s in the rear and selling the Kings.

    Icons are short too. At least my set was. Stock springs have way more drop than the shocks are capable of.

    It is my Daily...the bamf shock relocation interested me but I don't have the access or the skills to weld them on myself lol. I try to do everything myself on my truck saves a lot of $$ how would I go about a custom size? Is it a lot more expensive lol? Or does anyone have experience with fitting a 10" in stock location?

    ***update** just confirmed the oem king replacement is the biggest size they can fit in stock location without taking away what makes a king shock ride like it does. So looks like the TC relocation or bamf is next on my list.... any experience ?? Or recommendations ?

    Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of the BAMF shock mount kit and the chevy 63" springs... But that's a LOT of work. Might just go with All-Pros like you did, but still considering the BAMF just because I want to be able to take full advantage of rear wheel travel (without going nuts, of course).

    Custom length shocks, for the most part, aren't really "custom" where you call them up and give them your dimensions and they make you a pair of one-offs. I don't know about King (though I can't imagine they don't), but Bilstein has various shocks in 1" increments, so you can customize your suspension to your needs. They might be moderately more expensive only because they aren't produced in the numbers like the Tacoma specific 5100's, but they're worth it depending on your application. There are tons of threads on how to properly size shocks, I won't pretend to be an expert there...

    @jtanner21,

    Did you install your All-Pro standard leaf pack yet? How much lift did you get from them? I'm between these and a pair of Deaver J59. Also, what's your set up in the back? Any extra weight or basically stock? (Spare?)

    Should have them installed by next weekend ! I haven't found an answer myself for the lift height... I'm still worried that I should've gotten the expos since I have a rack and RTT but we will find out ;)
    I plan on having the rack and RTT in at all times but would like a swingout in the near future .. and will throw in more gear when going on trips
