I am actually quite sure that you know what you are doing, the talk is really to discuss what guns you have and what targets you have. Its not my land also, so i am going to be super careful when shooting with people out there. If we have shot before then i will be a little more lax, but the first time will be somewhat like a range... If everything goes good the first time out then we can meet out there more to shoot.

Its 800 acres so there is space for shotguns and clay pidgins if anyone has a thrower...

They look like they will work for quite a while, but that tiny bit of flex multiplied thousands of times driving around with an antenna on there will eventually crack. Might be real quick might be years but because that weight is unsupported it will fail.

 

Yeah i know, I think that it will depend on how long the antenna is and how soft the spring is. I have seen some on the trails whip around pretty good but they are long. The shorter ones dont seem to whip that much. Mine is 3ft and i dont see it whip around that much. Also my spring is super stiff!

Damn thread blew up today. I've been missing the epic mutliquotes from @Zac of all trades so heres one for him!

Less boat parts and more truck parts! If your using the Taco sounds like you need a better suspension and gears. Probably need to add a front locker to just in case 4wd and the rear locker arent enough. Dont want a ford or something having to help you out.

I registered for the $WP DMRA event but have decided to no longer go. Instead I took the recomendation of @ETXTacoma(@Zac of all trades I do know how to tag people...) and will be attending ATR in Tn labor day weekend. I'am in need of a good trip and havent been to Tn in over 10 yrs so its a great opportunity to visit it again.

I'm down to do Hidden falls some weekend. Just not labor day due to already buying a ticket for ATR on the last possible day sunday.

I thought about putting grip tape on my sliders before installing them but decided to hold off. I also remembered from back in the day that grip tape didnt do much with muddy shoes so I figured this wouldnt really help on the trails.

Maybe failure is the goal. Wait for it to break and then sell another one after telling them they must have installed it wrong. More money for more truck parts!

I'm probably buying a 12g this weekend, next payday at the latest. Gun safety is even more important when you have never seen the person/people you are with handle a gun. Just because your experienced doesnt mean your smart with the gun. You seem to understand this but I still wouldnt trust you until I shot with you for the first time, I would expect no less from you.

You may be shady but if you are safe with a gun as you are my truck(not your truck) I think I may be willing to shoot with you.

He did show me 3 of his pistols that he had on him at a meet up. My initial impression says hes a safety conscious person. I wathced him do all the proper checks before handing me any of the guns.

So I thought I had a good multiquote until I looked and realized I only had 3 quotes. Figured that would need more to live up to Zac's quote standards so i went ahead and added a few more. With that I am done.

If I did go, I would not be shooting the first go round. No offense to anyone here, I just wouldn't participate until I see how everyone operates. I was merely saying that shotguns/skeet ftw.
